Last Thursday I have a couple of hours to kill before my men's group at Church, so I went to Baja Fresh for the "Baja Ensalada with Chicken" - I like this when i can eat in - I ask them to put as much lettuce as they can possibly fit on the plate and then I douse it in the Fat Free Salsa Verde and have a huge, filling, salad with minimal fat and calories - and lots of leafy green veggies. It's really good.
While driving in to Baja Fresh I noticed there was a local running store right across the parking lot - so I decided to go visit them before I headed off to church. I chatted for a while and then decided to refill my diet coke cup one more time at Baja Fresh before heading to church.
Here is where the interesting thing happened. I noticed at this point that there was a "ColdStone Ice Cream" place next to Baja Fresh. That's not interesting - but what's really strange - and I'm not sure why I noticed - is that everyone going into, sitting outside, or ordering inside Coldstone was thin and fit. Everyone going into Baja Fresh was overweight - and not just a little - an old couple - a whole family - a woman by herself.
I don't get it.
Anyone have any ideas?
